Sally Pipes, a Canadian residing in the United States and president of the conservative Pacific Research Institute, faced off against Jeff Johnson, associate state director for advocacy for the Florida AARP, at JMI's October Luncheon Forum Debate, "What's Wrong with Importing Prescription Drugs from Canada?" Over 50 Institute members and friends attended the debate on the pros and cons of prescription drug importation. Following the debate, President Bob McClure moderated a lively question and answer session from the audience members. The event garnered news covered from WCTV Channel 6, Tallahassee's CBS affiliate, as well as Florida Public Radio.
