Ella Bevis serves as the Assistant Director of Development at The James Madison Institute. In her role, she is responsible for establishing connections and building lasting relationships with JMI’s supporters. Her goal is to advance the mission of JMI through fundraising initiatives and frequent correspondence with donors. 

Prior to her current position, she served as an intern at JMI working on policy research and outreach. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she held an internship at a local lobbying firm during Florida’s 2023 Legislative Session. She has also worked with The Republican Party of Florida, assisting with political contribution data entry during the 2022 gubernatorial election.

Ella is a recent graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree at FSU in Applied American Politics and Policy. As a Tallahassee native, Ella has a passion for her hometown, Florida’s Forgotten Coast, and the Florida State Seminoles.
