Hundreds of Girls State Delegates Join
JMI for ‘Women in Government’ Event

The James Madison Institute (JMI) held a ‘Women in Government” panel discussion on June 17 for attendees of the American Legion Auxiliary Girls State Conference. More than 300 girls had the unique opportunity to hear personal stories and receive insights on success from three distinguished women representing the three branches of government.
Thank you to our panel participants: House Speaker pro tempore Representative Marti Coley (R – Marianna), Leon County Judge Nina Ashenafi Richardson and Lt. Col. Kelly Hildreth, the first woman to have this ranking in the Florida Highway Patrol.
