Ayla Yebba is in her third year as a campus representative for The James Madison Institute at the University of South Florida. She is a senior majoring in Mass Communications with a concentration in Broadcast News and a minor in Leadership Studies. She plans to pursue a career as a television news anchor.
Through her role with JMI, she represents the organization on campus while connecting with students and student organizations to share JMI’s message and promote meaningful conversations about public policy and civic engagement.
In addition to her work with JMI, Ayla serves as vice president of the Network of enlightened Women and secretary of the College Republicans at USF. She was recently honored as the Network of enlightened Women’s Enlightened Woman of the Year for her leadership and involvement.
Outside of her academic and extracurricular commitments, Ayla enjoys traveling with her family and watching movies.
