Jill Mattox, JMI’s Foundation Grants Manager, is responsible for researching foundation prospects, preparing grant funding proposals, and writing follow-up reports.

Jill previously served as a legislative assistant to a Member of Congress and as a policy expert and grant writer for two nonprofit organizations in Washington, D.C. In these positions, she was responsible for compiling legislative summary packets, writing articles on policy issues, testifying before U.S. Congressional Committees, and writing grant proposals. She also has extensive experience reviewing grants for the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Jill is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Furman University, where she double majored in English and Spanish. She enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with their four children.
