Free market capitalism has lifted billions out of poverty around the world. Over its entire existence, we have seen countless threats to that system, almost always from elites seeking nothing more than greater power and control.
The latest threat, environmental/social/governance scoring models, has no place in our economy. We applaud the wisdom and foresight of our legislators in drawing a line on the sand and saying – not here.
We also would like to acknowledge Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis for his leadership in this effort. JMI, and the millions of Floridians seeking better lives for themselves and their families, thank you.
