A hallmark of liberty is a population free of harassment from government overreach. This matters greatly to Floridians, regardless of their economic place in life. It is abundantly clear that Washington DC wants not only to tell Floridians how to live their lives, but also harass them where it matters most – in their bank accounts.
Everyday Floridians would be powerless against the onslaught of tens of thousands of IRS agents harassing them without due cause. Amid record taxpayer dollars flowing into DC from states like Florida, DC only wants more. The best defense Floridians have against this is the vigilance of our state’s leaders. We thank CFO Patronis, Senator Ingoglia, and Representative Overdorf for their foresight and wisdom in proposing common sense measures to ensure that Floridians are free from illegal DC authorized harassment because of their political philosophies.
