Statement From The James Madison Institute on the Release of the Trump Administration’s AI Action Plan
TALLAHASSEE — Today, the Trump Administration released America’s AI Action Plan, a national strategy designed to promote innovation, safeguard individual rights, and bolster America’s global leadership in artificial intelligence. The plan highlights removing red tape, promotion of workforce readiness, enhancing AI use in government, and an emphasis on maintaining American leadership in innovation.
”Trump’s AI action plan isn’t just federal policy—it’s a blueprint state lawmakers should follow immediately to root out the regulatory creep that’s strangling AI, even in red states.” – Edward Longe, Director of National Strategy and Director of the Center for Technology and Innovation, The James Madison Institute
“While the White House’s action plan is a welcome step, Congress and State legislators will need to support the Administration’s pro-innovation framework to sustain America’s AI dominance.” – Turner Loesel, Policy Analyst, The James Madison Institute
