TIME Magazine Correspondent and New York Times Best-Selling Author to Debate on Role of Government in Economic Growth and Job Creation

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – TIME Magazine senior national correspondent, Michael Grunwald and New York Times best-selling author and president/CEO of FreedomWorks, Matt Kibbe will debate on the role of government in economic growth and job creation at a free event hosted by The James Madison Institute on Thurs., Oct. 25, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. The debate will be streamed live through FreedomWorks website, live.freedomworks.org.Michael Grunwald is author of “The New New Deal: The Hidden Story of Change in the Obama Era.” He has most recently appeared on “The Colbert Report.” Matt Kibbe is the president and CEO of FreedomWorks and a national public policy expert. Kibbe’s latest book is titled “Hostile Takeover: Resisting Centralized Government’s Stranglehold on America.” Kibbe has been a recent panelist on “Real Time with Bill Maher.”The event will be held at the Rose & Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center at Nova Southeastern University and will feature an audience Q&A session and book signing with Kibbe and Grunwald directly following the debate. Guests may attend at no cost, but are required to RSVP through Eventbrite as soon as possible to hold a seat.
